Windows Phone 7 beats iPhone 4 and Android in a grilling contest(video)

Microsoft are involved in various charitable projects. People are complaining about how wasteful this is. They should stop. This video might be a waste of 2000 bucks, but it's advertising that is necessary for revenue, and then there will be charitable work.
If they gave it away you would have remembered for the time until they gave it to someone else, but now you will remembered for the so criminal act of burning so much in so little time. We tend to remember more that which has a visual element and that's very visual, giving it away not so much.

"Angry Birds" is a mobile game in which birds launch themselves at pigs who stole their eggs.
STORY HIGHLIGHT
"Angry Birds," one of the most successful mobile games in history, is taking its bird-slinging game mechanics to a new platform: the traditional game console.
Rovio, the company behind the popular iPhone and Android game franchise, says that it is working on a version of the game for the Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3.
CEO Peter Vesterbacka also told the BBC that the games would launch next year, although he wouldn't reveal much more beyond that.
Vesterbacka also revealed a second piece of news: the company is actively working on "Angry Birds 2." The new game isn't a sequel to the original though, but is instead a completely new game featuring the angry birds and the evil pigs.
As for the premise of the game, Vesterbacka told the BBC that, "the pigs will be a lot more active than just being slingshotted at by birds."
He also added that there will be a lot more of the pigs in "Angry Birds 2."

Windows Phone 7 beats iPhone 4 and Android … in a grilling contest

Le’s face it, it’s a question the world’s been dying to know the answer to: which of the T-Mobile G2, HTC Surround and iPhone 4 will withstand a (literal) grilling the longest? Well, just in time for a mildly singed breakfast today, we have the answer. As you might have surmised from the title, HTC’s WP7-equipped Surround showed the most endurance, though in the end it too cashed out its Earthly credits and moved on to that great scrapyard in the sky. Video of its final moments awaits after the break.

Dell Streak Android 2.2 update imminent in UK, other territories on the way

Looks like Japan’s not the only one that’ll have Froyo on a five-inch tabletphone this year — Dell’s official Facebook account confirms that Android 2.2 will be rolling out to the Dell Streak starting this very month. That date’s just for the UK, mind you, as Dell plans to stagger the release from country to country for that winsome Stage UI. That said, if you’re a particularly astute diner you may be able to get your sweet spoonful sooner than some, as just last evening Dell reportedly directed a number of Streak owners to the website pictured above. While that “Continue with Update” button reportedly didn’t work and the website has since been pulled, it seems that Dell’s considering the idea of letting users directly download Android 2.2 themselves. See what the update might include in our gallery below.

Apple iPad

Since its release in April, Apple’s iPad has sold more than 7.5 million units. The iPad comes in several versions, with different memory capacities and an available cellular connection via AT&T (in October, Verizon started selling the iPad with an external 3G-to-Wi-Fi wireless router). For now, the iPad remains the dominant tablet computer.
